For my twelfth and final genius hour post, I decided to cook a more difficult dish. I decided to cook spinach-stuffed ravioli, which is a dish I personally despise. It is a stand-alone dish, which is actually quite easy to under or over cook. It is usually a standalone dish, however can be complemented with a type of garlic bread. This is a hearty dish that is usually served hot, drowned in sauce and cheese.
The recipe was rather easy, however the cooking times were a little difficult to work out at first. The Spinach-stuffed raviolis were layered on a baking pan along with ricotta cheese, a tomato-based sauce, garlic, and ground beef.
The preparation of this dish went rather well and it turned out as it should have. Throughout the duration of this project, I feel as if I learned a substantial amount about cooking, certainly enough to be able to prepare an entire meal by myself as was evident because most of the dishes prepared during this project I cooked myself.
